Everything you create stays in your browser: settings — including your topics, writing style, and profile — live in local storage, and your session history and dashboard statistics live in IndexedDB, separated per account if several people share a browser. Nothing is stored on our servers. If you clear your browser cache or switch devices it will be lost, so use the JSON export in Settings to keep a backup you can re-import.
Very little. Clerk (clerk.com), our SOC 2 certified authentication provider, holds your email address and the basic profile info your sign-in provider shares (like your name). Our proxy keeps per-account usage counts — numbers only, never content — to enforce your monthly allowance. If you subscribe, Stripe holds your billing details. We do not log or store the content of your prompts or AI responses.
Clerk (clerk.com) handles all authentication. They are a SOC 2 certified provider. We never see or store your password.
No. Promptly includes managed AI access — no API keys, no accounts with AI providers, no setup. You sign in and start generating.
Promptly routes every request through a curated set of high-performing models — one tuned for writing, one with live X (Twitter) search for trend discovery, one that searches the web and cites its sources for research, and one for rendering images. We upgrade the line-up as better models emerge, so you always get current-generation output without changing anything.
No. Your prompts and generated content pass through our relay to the AI model and back to your browser — we do not log or store them. Your ideas, posts, and images live in your browser's session history only.
Yes — but you stay in charge. Promptly brainstorms ideas first, then writes the post in-app from your chosen idea and your own perspective, in your voice. It can also render an on-brand image and publish the finished post to your LinkedIn feed in one click — always after you've reviewed and approved it. Prefer your own AI tool? Generate the ready-made ghostwriting prompt instead and paste it into Claude, Gemini, or any assistant you like.
Only the permission to create posts, via the LinkedIn connection you grant when signing in. Promptly posts to your feed solely when you click Publish — it never posts automatically and cannot read your feed, messages, or connections. You can revoke the connection at any time in your LinkedIn settings.
One credit is roughly one generation — a batch of ideas, a written post, or a rendered image. Every subscription includes 100 credits, 20 live X-trend searches, and 25 web research lookups per month.
Anytime, in a couple of clicks: open Settings → Manage billing to reach the Stripe customer portal and cancel there. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — no cancellation fees.
We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. Contact us at support@promptly.ee within 14 days of your purchase.
Promptly.ee is operated from Estonia, an EU member state, and is committed to full GDPR compliance. The only personal data we process is your email address, handled by Clerk. For data access, correction, or deletion requests, contact support@promptly.ee.
Promptly does not restrict how you use the ideas it generates, but generation must comply with the acceptable-use policies of the underlying AI providers. You are also responsible for ensuring any content you publish complies with LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies.
